meet your farmer :)
Gina is honored, grateful, and excited to start the journey of developing Meadowsong Farm at New Entry Sustainable Farming Project in Beverly, MA. During her time traveling in Central America in her early 20s, she noticed the simplicity of slow living and innate connection to the earth among indigenous communities. She felt inspired to reconnect with her own agricultural roots and family lineage back home and took a field crew position at Lexington Community Farm…just for fun. About 4 years later, Gina’s worked on farms throughout New England and most recently was assisting with the management of the Trustees of Reservations’ Mobile Market food access initiative.
Meadowsong Farm is an active partner with the Mobile Market and still assists with the planning, programming, logistics, and distribution of produce to underserved families in Greater Boston. You can find Meadowsong’s produce for sale through the Mobile Market and SNAP/HIP at the Chelsea Farmer’s Market this season!

why “meadowsong”
A meadow’s song is the magic of simply being present for the symphonies of sounds that fields, forests, flora, and fauna perform all around us. It’s the storytelling, laughter, and bonding that occurs when we practice connecting with one another in the comfort and beauty of nature. Gina approaches farming as a craft, co-creating living art with the land. She believes agriculture has always been inherently community-focused and is a lifelong student in traditional, ancestral, and sustainable forms of growing food for the ones we cherish.
Meadowsong’s mission is to inspire others to grow a strong relationship with both nature and human community, regardless of socioeconomic and societal hurdles. The farm strives for financial transparency and centers equitable food access as a reflection of this commitment.
“…for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
